What I Actually Do

Across everything I'm involved in, I'm the person who builds the system, wires the tools together, and makes the thing actually ship.

Somebody else usually has the expertise. My job is the machine that gets it to the people who need it — the funnel, the pages, the email, the plumbing nobody wants to think about.

I work out of a home office in California.

The clearest example of that job is Silence to Signals, and it has a name.

I'm the course architect responsible for extracting, organizing, naming and systematizing Dr. Catherine C. Acotto's clinical knowledge into a teachable parent transformation. The architecture was developed through extensive interviews and knowledge extraction with her. I identified recurring principles, organized them into a sequential learning pathway, developed the SIGNAL Path structure and proprietary course vocabulary in collaboration with the subject-matter expert, and translated expert knowledge into modules, lessons, parent tools, educational assets and an enrollment system.

The course architect's role is not to substitute for the expert. It is to make expert knowledge transferable. My work sits at the intersection of instructional architecture, intellectual-property development, digital product strategy, messaging and customer journey design. The objective is to preserve the integrity of the expert's knowledge while turning tacit pattern recognition into a framework people can understand, remember and implement.

I also lead the marketing and enrollment architecture for Silence to Signals™. That covers the assessment, the funnel, the messaging, the sales assets, the content strategy, the course production systems, and the broader commercialization strategy required to bring the framework to families at scale. The course is intended to serve as the proof of concept for the Silence to Signals™ Communication Framework: parent enrollment, implementation, measurable change, family outcomes and documented success stories are central to establishing the framework's real-world value.

Where It Came From

In 2008 the real estate market and the mortgage industry collapsed together, and everything I owned was tied to the same thing. My businesses didn't fail one at a time. They failed together.

After losing everything I had accomplished, built, nurtured and loved, I found myself alone at rock bottom — and then I bounced along the bottom for years. Hitting bottom doesn't wake you up. That's the myth.

What eventually moved wasn't what happened to me. It was what I'd decided it meant. That's the whole of Shift A Paradigm, and it's the reason I have any interest in helping other people get their own work in front of the people it's for.
